Symposium Date: Wednesday, August 31st, 2011
Participation in the Symposium has increased significantly since its inception in 2004. Increased participation has made the Symposium a successful and stimulating event, but precludes the acceptance of all submitted abstracts. The Symposium committee asks that each first author submit a maximum of one abstract, and that research groups avoid significant content overlap in multiple abstracts. Accepted abstracts will be presented either orally or as a poster. Notification of abstract review outcome will be provided by mid-August.
Certificates will be presented for the best poster and oral presentations. In addition, the Bruce Hasegawa Award for Excellence in Biomedical Imaging will be given to a student or postdoctoral researcher working in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging for outstanding work in Radiology, bioengineering, medical physics or nuclear engineering.
