Broncus is devoted to improving the lives of people with lung diseases by developing novel medical devices for Interventional Bronchoscopy, a new sub-specialty of pulmonologists and thoracic surgeons who perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures through a bronchoscope.

Emphysema is one of the battlegrounds where we believe we can make a difference with technology. Broncus is investigating the Exhale® Drug-Eluting Stent for the airway bypass procedure -- a minimally-invasive treatment being studied to relieve emphysema symptoms. Broncus is currently enrolling a randomized, pivotal, phase III, IDE study, called the EASE Trial, in patients with homogeneous emphysema.
