In celebration of Heart Month, please join us for an informative lecture by the South Asian Heart Center Executive Director, Ashish Mathur. Ten to twelve percent of the South Asian Population in urban areas globally and four percent in rural areas are afflicted with heart disease.
Mr. Mathur will present on the following topics:
- The epidemic of heart disease and prevalence of heart attacks
- What causes the increased incidence?
- What can be done?
- What is the evidence and impact of lifestyle on heart disease?
- Findings from the South Asian Heart Center
