Dave Thompson has nearly 20 years of experience in the field of human capital. He began his career in Charlotte, North Carolina with Fortune Personnel Consultants and then relocated to FPC’s Atlanta office. After 2 years, he moved to New York and joined a retainer-based executive search firm as a Research Associate that gave him his first experience with professional services searches. He was soon named Director of Research and was then recruited by Battalia Winston in Manhattan where he became Director of Search Operations. Dave spent over 6 years with Battalia Winston and relocated to California to open offices for them in San Francisco and Los Angeles. At the height of the .com boom, Dave was recruited to Korn/Ferry’s newly-created Futurestep division and was named a principal, continuing his focus on professional services searches.
In the subsequent downturn, Dave had the uniquely satisfying experience of being a Senior Consultant at Right Management’s Silicon Valley office, where he presented career search classes and individual coaching to professionals in transition. Last year, Dave was hired by M Squared in San Francisco as a Consultant Services Manager in their Strategic Solutions Group. M Squared is a premier provider of interim consulting talent and SSG focuses on technology companies in the Bay Area. After only 6 months on board, he won a Bravo! award from the firm for building and delivering a Sarbanes-Oxley compliance team in less than 10 days to a global technology company in Silicon Valley.
Dave is a Distinguished University Scholar graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and also holds a J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law in Knoxville. He is active in the SF Bay Area UNC Alumni Club.

Patricia began her career in medical market research then quickly moved into pharmaceutical sales and management. She has built and led successful, profitable teams for the following clients: Sandoz, Novartis, Schering, HMR, Vivus and Alza. Patricia was Director, Regional Business, West Region for Sanofi~Synthelabo, Inc., where she was responsible for sales, training, marketing, and medical education for the West Region Cardiovascular Business Unit.
From 1996 to 2001, Patricia was with Innovex, where she helped the company grow from annual revenues of $500,000 to $242 million. Serving as National Sales Director and then as Director, Business Development, Patricia knows the pharmaceutical industry from the inside out and has in-depth experience with the therapeutic areas of allergy, anti-fungals, cardiology, CNS, oncology, urology, and men’s and women’s health.
Currently Patricia is the Vice President of Business Development at M Squared, Inc where she is focused on the Life Sciences industry in the Bay Area. Patricia is working closely with biotech, pharmaceutical and healthcare companies, helping them identify and resolve their human capital needs.
