Course Description: Designed for those who have a comprehensive understanding of software quality development and implementation; have a thorough understanding of software inspection and testing, verification, and validation; and can implement software development and maintenance processes and methods. A detailed listing of the certification requirements are contained in the body of knowledge.
Course Prerequisites: You must have eight years of on-the-job experience in one or more of the areas of the Certified Software Quality Engineer Body of Knowledge. A minimum of three years of this experience must be in a decision-making position. "Decision-making" is defined as the authority to define, execute, or control projects/processes and to be responsible for the outcome. This may or may not include management or supervisory positions. This course is designed to supplement the knowledge of the individual having meet the requirements for certification and is not designed to teach the entire body of knowledge.
Supporting Courses: Quality Tools, CQA Certification Exam Schedule: The exam is given twice per year, once in June and again in December. There is a deadline for registering for the exam.
Required Course Materials: CSQE Primer and solution text from the Quality Council of Indiana will be provided as part of the class fee. Early registration is encouraged so that these can be orders and available to the student at the first class.
