The presentation will explore the changes in health care access codified by the recently enacted health care reform legislation. Mary Bordeaux has a unique view into the payer and drug manufacturer perspective through her consulting practice and will highlight some of the cost and administration issues these stakeholders now face in providing expanded access to U.S. consumers. Changes in consumer access will focus on all age groups including seniors, workers of all income levels, young adults and children. We’ve all heard what health care reform is supposed to do…we’ll now learn what is likely required to make some of the more important elements happen.
