Diana Losch, Principal/Creative Director, Essentialize brings over 20 years of art direction and design experience in information design and branding to her work with Fortune 500, early-stage companies and ad agencies. As founding principal of Essentialize, her focus is helping Life Science and technology clients communicate complex information to target audiences. Her capabilities range from designing complex web applications and dynamic marketing sites for clients such as Cisco, Hewlett Packard and Pharmacia,– to introducing new products, developing interactive learning tools, telling stories through animation for clients such as LifeScan, IntraPace, Novartis and Alcon.
Diana graduated with a BA in Information design and branding from the School of Visual Arts in NYC and completed advanced studies in interactive design at SFSU.
Ellen Going, Associate Medical Illustrator, Essentialize is an expert at depicting accurate life science visual representations and concepts. Her capabilities range from illustrating anatomical pathologies to visualizing 3D molecular structures for advertising, educational and editorial communications. She has held a teaching position at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, and senior medical illustrator positions at The Johns Hopkins Medical School, Henry Ford Hospital, Wayne State University School of Medicine, and Krames Communications, a leading publisher of patient educational materials. Ellen’s client experience includes developing medical illustrations for such clients as Elan, Genentech, Chiron, and Roche.
Ellen holds a Master of Arts degree from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and has won numerous awards over the years for her excellence in medical illustration.
