Kevin Yamanaka works for xpedx packaging an International Paper Company. We are a packaging distributor focused on innovative packaging solutions. Our core strengths are offering unique materials and designs to bring your product to market. Plus we offer consultation on stream lining your packaging operations. We service many industries, but have seen particular success with the Biotech & Medical Device companies in Bay Area. We currently have successful relationships with Applied Biosystems, Bio-Rad, and Dionex to name a few.

Bill Horkins is a certified packaging professional with over 15 years experience providing packaging engineering services to the biotechnology and medical device industries. These services include package and labeling development, packaging equipment selection and validation, and package materials and systems performance testing. Bill holds a BS in Packaging from Michigan State University, an MA in Industrial Technology from San Jose State University, and is a PhD candidate in Packaging at Michigan State. He currently teaches the Pharmaceutical, Medical, and Cosmetics Packaging class at San Jose State University. Bill is also a two-time winner of both the Ameristar and Packaging Design Council national package design awards.

Justen Bausewein is a Senior Packaging Engineer with xpedx-International Paper with over 10 years of experience in the custom packaging field. He has successful designs in place all throughout the Bay Area and the world. With keen focus Justen has watched the migration of manufacturing to other parts of the world and has adapted his solutions to accommodate the challenges around the world. Justen holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from Rochester Institute of Technology.
