Mr. Worthington has led Fluidigm since its inception in early 1999. Since that time, Fluidigm has successfully demonstrated a broad range of applications on its technology platform (multilayer soft lithography); recruited experienced and successful leadership at every level of the organization; developed and commercialized a high growth and high value first product; built a fully-integrated commercial organization including R&D, manufacturing, marketing, and worldwide sales and support and; raised over $78M in capital at ever-increasing valuations. Mr. Worthington also sits advisory Boards for Bay Bio and the Stanford Technology Ventures Program. Prior to founding Fluidigm, Gajus held a variety of engineering, operations and marketing roles at Actel Corporation, a successful integrated circuit company. Mr. Worthington received his undergraduate degree in Physics and a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
