Stephen L. Hurst, JD, founded Sequential, Inc., a development-stage oncology company in July 2002 and served as President & CEO until December 2004. He was Executive Vice President at Inhale Therapeutic Systems, Inc., until July 2002, where he held a variety of senior executive positions, including General Counsel & Secretary, interim Senior Vice President of Operations, Vice President of Intellectual Property and Licensing and Head of Business Development. From 1984 to 1994, Mr. Hurst worked as a patent attorney specializing in biotechnology. From 1974 to 1982, he held a variety of research positions at the University of California in the field of radiation oncology. He is a graduate of Golden Gate University, School of Law and the University of California, Berkeley. Mr. Hurst is a director of Mountain View Pharmaceuticals, Inc., of Menlo Park, California, a privately held company.
