Irene Marshall has helped people get jobs for over five years. She started as a recruiter with Robert Half, doing direct-hire placement for people in finance and accounting. She left Robert Half in 2003 and established
Tools for Transition, a company dedicated to helping people make good changes in their lives.
Irene is one of a handful of professionals in the country who have three certifications for various aspects of career and job search support. She is a professional resume writer, interview coach and career coach. Her
work is always done from the perspective of an former recruiter.
Irene has a nationwide team including 4 other resume writers who write for people with a wide variety of career backgrounds. She has collaborative partnerships with other coaches who specialize in both career and general life issues. Irene is a frequent speaker at job networking events in the San Francisco area. She teaches a monthly class about job search techniques through the Fremont Adult School.
Irene brings over 30 years of broad business experience to her work. Her degree in accounting is from Cal State Hayward and her MBA is from the University of Santa Clara. She has personally done accounting, finance, sales and marketing in a variety of industries. She and her husband are long-time small business owners. She brings a broad perspective on all aspects of job search and hiring challenges.
Irene also has a particular interest and ability in the intuitive arts. She is a feng shui practitioner, working with clients in the greater Bay Area. She brings an understanding of feng shui principles into her career-related work. Irene is also currently studying as a medical intuitive with the Ritberger Institute. She will receive her Masters in Intuitive Diagnostics in 2006 and her PhD in 2007. She is an ongoing student in many areas, both traditional and non-traditional.
